Mahogany Sipo

Entandrophragma utile

Although easy to work, this wood tends to wear out tools. Joining with nails and screws is easy and strong. Due to the presence of the counter-edge, it is advisable to reduce the cutting angle to 15° when planing. Generally used for various carpentry and joinery work, railway sleepers, floorboards, vehicle bottoms. In cabinetmaking, it is required as a decorative plank to replace mahogany.
