The use of synthetic resin-based adhesives and the consequent use of hot-plate presses have eliminated any difficulty in gluing (pressing) sheets of “Rooted Poplar”. This wood, very much in vogue in the 1930s, has recently been rediscovered by builders, as it allows them to return a new and fashionable product.
