Rio Palisander

This is a wood decorative wood, so it is mainly required in cabinetmaking in the form of veneer, to make fine furniture and ornaments. It is also used to make knife handles, brushes, billiard cues, etc.. Being rather hard and compact, it is not easy to work. Since it contains extractive oils, it is difficult to glue and paint. Joints with nails and screws require preparation work.
