Ayan

Ayan is easy to work. The only drawback it has is the high silica content, which tends to wear out the tools used. It is easily worked, although because of its silica content, tools wear out quickly.  Due to the elasticity of this wood, it can be used for curved-shaped objects. Since it is resistant to chemical agents, it is also used to make containers for industries.
