Cypress

This wood is easily processed using both hand tools and more modern processing machines.  

Being a good quality wood, it is used for outdoor structures, shipbuilding, furniture, especially for rustic dining rooms. Thanks to its characteristic smell and its ability to keep insects and pests away, cypress is widely used for the paneling of interior cabinet doors and chests.
