Idigbo

Terminalia ivorensis – A Chev

The wood is moderately hard and very easy to work with with all the tools: it can be planed, glued, nailed, screwed, sanded and painted without any difficulty. It can also be peeled and sheared with relative ease. However, the cutting edge of the tools is easily worn. All joints, even with tenons, are strong. The peculiarity of this material is its natural predisposition to be bent, even with moderate pressure.
