Easy to process, this wood is sanded and finished to an excellent standard. Recently, it has been in great demand by the British furniture industry, which uses it to make fine furniture in traditional styles, particularly the naval style. The low commercialization makes it particularly attractive and sought after by manufacturers of art furniture.
